Deckard’s Gun – Blade Runner

THE GLORY:

I ordered a resin kit of Deckard’s blaster from Blade Runner, and after many hours and several trips to the hardware store, it is almost done:

First painting and dry assembly.

Almost done, still need to wire up the LED’s.



FINISHED! I added lots of little details, green LED’s on the “scope”, little screws, white wire, shellac to the grips, and a couple bolts and rivets that were missing. I am debating replacing the large screw on the side with one I’ve made that matches the actual prop…but it could cause a mess.


The real prop, for reference. I know mine’s not quite as bad-ass, but it’s close.

UPDATE: I did end up making my own screen accurate bolt and here is what it looks like now:
